We were delighted to welcome Mr. Pran Joshi from the Vishnu Hindu Kendra Mandir to our whole school assembly, where he shared the significance of Diwali in Hinduism. Mr. Joshi captivated us with the story of Rama and Sita, highlighting the theme of good triumphing over evil, which lies at the heart of the festival. In our class assembly, we also learned about how Sikhs celebrate Bandi Chhor Divas, a festival that coincides with Diwali and similarly symbolizes the victory of light over darkness.
