This year in arts and crafts the children took ownership of what they would be creating each week. Everyone was very excited to use paint in the club so we have spent the past two weeks creating pictures using paints and other interesting media. 

These are some of the lavendar paintings the children created using wooden sticks, cotton buds and paints. 

Here the children have created galaxy paintings. They mixed colours together to make different shades and used sponges to get a smooth, cloudy effect. Once the paint had dried they used the ends of their paint brushes to create a spray of stars.
